For many years now, there has been shoes hanging over the street of Trubarjeva in Ljubljana. Here is a photo as the sun is setting after a sunny Friday.

A classic view of Ljubljana Castle with an unusual detail. Only on public holidays in Slovenia are you able to see the Slovene flag on the tower. All other days, you’ll see the green Ljubljana flag.

On the hour, every hour, Ljubljana’s puppet theatre plays a tune and these two characters comes out to say hello. We just managed to catch them in today’s photo from Ljubljana even though the photo in itself isn’t the best of the building.

Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana:

Ljubljana’s festival of Bosnian food is in full swing on Stritarjeva ulica next to Ljubljana’s famous triple bridge. The photo from this morning shows the crowds curiously looking at all the nice food and people in traditional Bosnian folk dresses.

A grey day calls for a colourful photo and what could be better than this famous building!
Just a shame the phone that was used to take the photo couldn’t include the whole building.

A famous statue for everyone who watches Slovenian TV. Standing in front of Ljubljana’s TV house, it became today’s photo from Ljubljana.

Ljubljana’s free taxis named Kavalir I and Kavalir II drives around the pedestrian streets in Ljubljana offering free rides. As far as we know, you can’t ask them to take you to the airport or anywhere outside the absolute city centre but it’s a great service for tired legs and the elderly.

An ordinary and mostly cloudy day calls for an picture of everyday life in Ljubljana. Here is the main street Slovenska cesta which goes through Ljubljana center with the famous ‘sky scraper’ building Neboticnik.

If you’ve been out in Ljubljana today you would have seen many people carrying Olive branches.
This is of course a tradition for Palm Sunday and today’s picture is of the ladies by the Triple Bridge in Ljubljana selling olive branches and flowers for the day.
