Executive Business Hotels Ljubljana

Ljubljana offers a good selection of luxury business hotels which has hosted celebrities and royals over the years.

Grand Hotel Union Executive, the most exclusive hotel in Ljubljana and is the choice of most head of states visiting the country including Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II in 2008. Built in 1905, this executive business hotel was the most modern hotel in southeastern Europe and it has since then, continued to be the most exclusive hotel in Ljubljana. It is located in the heart of the city centre and includes 21 conference rooms, secured garage, indoor swimming pool, fitness and all modern business facilities.

 

Hotel Lev Ljubljana is a 5 star luxury hotel located only 5-10 minutes’ walk from the from the city centre. The hotel and its glass mirror building offers 173 luxury rooms and suites which prides itself on its service. For the business traveller you find a congress hall, conference rooms and many meeting rooms. It is also host to the award winning Pri Levu a la cart restaurant so if you are looking for an executive service and facilities, Hotel Lev will not disappoint you.

 

Antiq Palace Hotel & Spa**** is a boutique hotel and small spa inside a newly renovate 16^th century building in the centre of Ljubljana. It easily lives up to it’s name ‘Palace’ and it’s beautiful décor but it also offers top of the range business facilities including meeting rooms and temporary or permanent office solutions.  Antiq Palace hotel has 10 spacious suites and 3 beautiful penthouse apartments.

 

Mid-range Business Hotel Ljubljana

Average single room:  €100-170

Hotel Slon in the Ljubljana centre is a prestigious 1930’s hotel which is completely modernised.  It consists of 168 newly renovated double rooms, deluxe rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and through out the hotel.  If you want to relax, there is a free ‘rooftop relaxation zone’ which includes a sauna and fitness corner is available to the guests.

Another major business advantage to Hotel Slon is the Business Center which offers secretarial services, a virtual office, work desks with computers and much more. The Hotel Slon’s café with its free wifi is a common meeting point for business men in Ljubljana.

 

Hotel Mons is proud to be Slovenia’s first design hotel and congress centre that can accommodate for up to 800 delegates. The rooms are also designed for the business man with free Wi-Fi and interactive TVs enabling you unwind after a long day. For the more active visitor, there are running tracks and a gym with a personal trainer. This is the perfect place to concentrate on your business or unwind after a long day.

With its abundant of glass walls, this Ljubljana hotel is very light with plenty of daylight. It is located on the ring road with a 10 minutes drive from Ljubljana city centre and for the guests who want to visit the Ljubljana city centre, there is a free transport.

Hotel Mons offers state of the art conference facilities with a very easy access from the motorway for the visitors. With the six halls and 3 boardrooms, it can accommodate meetings from 10 to 800 people.

 

Grand Hotel Union Business is the middle range of the three hotels belonging to the Grand Hotel Union chain. It is recently refurbished and it hosts 127 hotel rooms and 6 hotel suites. The three Grand Hotel Union hotels are all located on the same street and the Executive and Business share the multifunctional conference centre in the hotel.  All rooms include free Wi-Fi, luxury breakfast, free use of the business center and the sauna, fitness center and swimming pool.

If you don’t require the royal treatment in the Executive building but still want to make use of the facilities and location, the Grand Hotel Business is a great choice. A single room costs from €178 and a double room costs you from €208 per room per night.

 

The Central Hotel is the smaller and cheaper hotel in the Grand Hotel Union group.

A single room is between €139-167, double room €286-343 and the suites costs between €286-343.

At the Central hotel Ljubljana you can make use of the swimming pool, sauna and fitness facilities at the Grand Hotel Union Business centre which is only a 2 minute’s walk down the road.

 

M hotel Ljubljana lies around 5 minutes’ drive out towards the suburbs of Ljubljana and it offers good rooms with Wi-Fi internet. If you require a longer bed, this is the only hotel in Ljubljana that openly advertise that they have several beds for taller guests, 40 rooms with 2.2 meters long beds to be precise.

The M hotel Ljubljana also offers a good conference facility for up to 300 participants.

 

Budget Business Hotel Ljubljana

Average single room:  €70-100

Hotel Emonec Ljubljana is not advertised as a business hotel or hosts any conference rooms but it is becoming more popular among the price conscious business travellers. Its unique location in the city centre removes the need for hotel bars or a restaurant as there is plenty to choose from on its doorstep.  You are only a 1 minute walk from the river Ljubljanica with all the city centre bars and restaurant awaiting you.

All the rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi internet so if you’re in Ljubljana only for a short stay with external meetings and time to spare in the evenings, this is a bargain hard to resist.

 

Hotel Park Ljubljana is a three star hotel in the city centre with only a ten minutes walk to the heart of the city. Wi-Fi is available for free in the restaurant and the hotel lobby.  This converted apartment block offers 200 rooms which were all renovated in 2007. The size of the hotel makes it the only budget hotel in the centre that can accommodate large groups. It’s also worth mentioning that Hotel Park welcomes pets which might be great news for some travellers but a warning to allergic travellers. In short, this is a great bargain to business and other guests who are looking for a bargain in the city centre.

 

Hotel Center is a fairly new arrival on the hotel scene in Ljubljana and is great news for the budget conscious business guests who want to stay in the city centre and don’t require parking. The train and coach station is only 300 meters away and the city centre is only 400 meters in the other direction.  A single room can cost as little as €64 per night and the double rooms start at €67.
