Photos from Ljubljana’s Dragon Carnival 2012
The Pust parade took place in glorious sunshine today in Ljubljana with all the traditional characters. After several week’s of freezing temperatures, the sunshine and warm weather was warmly welcomed and Ljubljana’s streets were filled with children and adults dressed up in fantastic costumes.
The parade with everything from big dragons to school children dress up as smurfs did of course have all the traditional Pust characters. Here is a selection of the photos from this morning:

Ljubljana is beautifully lit up during the festive season over the new year but Ljubljana photos by night is not only about these lights. The old town and the normal lights along the river makes for perfect evening photos and you found tourists and professional photographers with their cameras out every summer evening.
